ONeOFUS

We are outsiders, with inclusivity at the heart of what we do. Traversing the world as radical artist looking for alternative was to be inside, the main thrust of our work is to highlight, question, and poke fun at the absurdity of normality, using a loving cup of artistic agitation. We accept you, one of us.

Co-directors Julie Atlas Muz and Mat Fraser are outrageously loving disruptors. We do not fit comfortably in any box: theater, dance, cabaret, film, burlesque, or pure activism - and yet we feel at home in them all. Our work is a mixture of everything that best serves our message which inevitably includes Disability Rights and Feminism.

Past work includes, “The Freak & The Showgirl” (Adelaide, Perth, Berlin & more), “Beauty & the Beast” (London, NYC, Adelaide, Chicago), “CripFest Disability Arts Festival” celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the ADA, BAM Fischer 2015, “Jack & the Beanstalk” (NYC), for which they were hailed as New York Times New Yorkers of the Year. ONEOFUS was the first to present relaxed performances for physically and neuro-diverse audiences in the UK & US, not specifically for children. ONEOFUS relentlessly demands better access for both the performers and audiences alike.
