For the two and half years Julie reigned as head mermaid at The Coral Room a NYC nightclub that boasted a 9, 000 gallon saltwater water aquarium with live fish.  At the Coral Room Julie consulted on projects with Kate Winslet on John Turturro’s upcoming film “Romance and Cigarettes” and was featured in a flood of television interviews including Access Hollywood, Telemundo and was photographed for many many magazines,

Unfortunately The Coral Room closed it’s doors in July 2005, but that hasn’t stopped Julie from swimming as a mermaid at the public and private pools alike in preparation for her grand tour of the world’s aquariums.
